I have been really enjoying your album. Tonight I was listening while I was painting, it's a perfect album for late night visual art. It's relaxing, yet has lots of quiet interest points. This is serious, inventive music. It all fits very subtlely and alluringly. The piano thoughts are articulate and caressing. The horn sound reminds me of Sketches of Spain with Miles Davis and film soundtracks like the one for the movie "Talk To Her". Very nice album!’.

With this CD, we (Bob Day on flugelhorn and myself on piano) have tried to set out an unusual ambient aural landscape that irresistibly draws the listener in with it's hauntingly mysterious musical narrative.

Not only is this recording a vehicle for virtuosic soloing, it sympathetically creates an envelope of sound and distant voices to support the performances.

The complete effect has the listener trying to remember which (really good) film they saw that used this music for it's soundtrack.
